so, i'm in jew class. i was under the impression that i would be being entertained by
kaytee12500 however, shes over there geeking away on her little computer and has yet to get on AIM. i'm watching you. stop taking notes.
anyway, i guess i should be paying attention but since shes taking such awesome notes.. ill just get them ;)
i loved this mans class last semester but i have the worst time paying attention in this class. even before i started bringing my computer to class. good thing his tests are easy and curved.
so,im going to virginia tech this weekend to visit some friends. the whole time ive been at school. this being the fourth year, ive never once gone and visited my friends at their schools. how sad. its about time. october is going to be such a great month and this just starts it off. i just wish it would hurry up and get cooler out so i can enjoy the fall weather. the other night at work, i was talking to this lady at one of my tables and she said that when the weather goes straight from hot to really cold and skips the actual fall cooling down, the leaves won't change color and they'll just drop. as nerdy as this is, i LOVE the leaves changing and what a disappointment that will be.
oh and before i go back to paying no attention in class.. i had to post pictures of these two pieces of art i fell in love with during the first section of art history i had. didn't really pay attention until i studied for the test for four hours on sunday and realized how awesome these were. watch out though.. they are really large pictures
( art )
i'd seriously much rather browse myspace than update the old LJ but whatever. tonight i shall spruce up my LJ and revive my interest. it will match my myspace colors. yes. i'm a nerd.
so there's my school schedule. damn tuesdays and thursdays are crucial. 3 intensive history classes in a row with 15 minutes in between. i seriously have to force myself to pay attention despite the fact that i genuinely like what i'm learning about. i think if i could get away with being a history major instead of a minor, i would. however, being a teacher/poor does not appeal to me. plus, i wouldn't teach past the age of 10 and those kids definitely don't need intensive history.
i'm also taking spanish. what the hell? i took french for 6 years. i just need some basic spanish since it is a good language to know but a month into the course and i'm already finding myself constantly wanting to use the french. it's harder than i wanted it to be but i'm working on it.
work is alright i guess. i'm totally burnt out on being there since i worked my ass off this summer and i had to ultimately take 2 days off a week (tuesdays and thursdays since they are my busiest school days) but basically every day except those i am working right after school. i figure this is crunch time to make bank before i take a million days off in october for various trips. i'm especially excited for my birthday and VEGAS!
i posted both of these to my snl community, but i had to share with ya'll because i am SO excited for this season of SNL
"Saturday Night Live" comedian-writer Tina Fey has given birth to her first child.
Fey, co-anchor of Weekend Update, the fake news desk of "SNL," gave birth Saturday in New York to a daughter, Alice Richmond, an NBC spokesman said Monday.
"Safe, home, happy, thrilled to death," said Marc Liepis, a spokesman for the sketch comedy show. The baby weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces, he said.
Fey, 35, and her husband, Jeff Richmond, were married in 2001. Fey has been head writer at "SNL" for five years; Richmond is a composer for the show.
She will take a brief maternity leave from "Saturday Night Live," which premieres its 31st season Oct. 1.

"Bill Hader and Andy Samberg have been tapped as "featured players" on the late-night sketch-comedy show from creator/executive producer Lorne Michaels.
Hader, who comes to "SNL" via Second City Los Angeles, most recently used his improv skills as a "field agent" on MTV's celebrity prank show "Punk'd."
Samberg was one of three writer-performer-filmmakers known as "The Lonely Island" whose short films were showcased on http://www.Channel101.com.
They join returning cast members Fred Armisen, Rachel Dratch, Will Forte, Darrell Hammond, Seth Meyers, Finesse Mitchell, Chris Parnell, Amy Poehler, Horatio Sanz, Kenan Thompson and featured player Jason Sudeikis.
Head writer and "Weekend Update" co-anchor Tina Fey and cast member Maya Rudolph are scheduled to go on maternity leave at some point, with both slated to return later in the season."
who is jason sudeikis? i'm sure he's not a returning featured player. that must either be a typo or he also is new.
so i looked for pictures from the matisyahu concert in va beach that i was at online and found some...
im totally in that picture although im not the crazy lady in the front. she looks like shes tryin to be all spiritually raised up but shes wasted. dont let her fool you. she had like 8 drinks before the show even started.
im the normal one just above her shoulder.
someone tell me that it's okay to spend money on textbooks.
man i have a problem with money. when i have it, and earn it to SPEND on things.. i never want to spend it.
i have a fear of being poor i think.
i feel like shit.
